When Crunchyroll was first starting to dub anime, they picked up Gintama. At the time, the first two seasons of the show were licensed by Sentai and were released sub-only. Crunchyroll decided to dub what was then the most recent season of the show, season 3. They used Ocean for the ADR production. Sentai Filmworks licensed and released only the first 49 episodes of Gintama, along with the first movie; in 2016, Crunchyroll gained the license and plans to release the entire series dubbed/subtitled at some point in the future.
